The roots of the Frank Clarke Agency trace back to the 1930s when Frank Clarke, Sr. started his career in the life insurance business. More than 2o years later, he expanded his business to include property & casualty insurance.
The company he founded expanded in 1962 when his son, Frank Clarke, Jr., officially came on board. Frank Jr. eventually took over the agency after Frank Sr. retired in 1972.
Ten years later, Frank Jr.’s oldest daughter, Colleen Clarke (Desmont), joined the agency as a property & casualty and life insurance customer service representative. She then became Secretary/Treasurer of the agency in 1985.
Then, in 2004, the Frank Clarke Agency became a fourth generation family-owned business with the addition of Colleen’s daughter, Nichelle (Nikki). Nikki is licensed for life and health, as well as property and casualty insurance.

Over the years, our agency has written a wide and varied range of property & casualty business. In fact, many of the accounts that Frank Sr. acquired are still with the agency as second and third-generation insureds.

Both Frank Sr. and Frank Jr. managed the agency with a fundamental belief that the needs of the insured must always come first. This premise continues today to be the reason for our agency’s success.
Our agency has, and will continue to be, a family-operated agency. We take great pride in the fact that many insureds have been with us through the generations – just as we have been here, serving them.
